The GEWA G9 convinces with its large touchscreen. Through this interface you communicate with the extensive menus and functions that this module offers. The G9 can be integrated into any audio and recording environment and it provides advanced signal processing. Play it as a live drum with your fine-tuned settings or in easy mode. Presets designed for the pads of many brands make the Gewa G9 multicompatible with the most common E-Drum components, e.g. by drum-tec or Roland.

The G9 offers 40 drum kit presets and an unlimited number of user presets from its over 400 instrument sounds. These can be individually edited with 12 reverbs and 9 multi-effects, as well as a fully parametric 3-band EQ for each pad.

Im November letzten Jahres habe ich mir bei Drum-Tec das Gewa G9-Modul bestellt. Ich hatte mich im Vorfeld mit einigen Modulen beschäftigt und mich am Ende für Gewa entschieden, da es mich durch die Beschreibungen und nicht zuletzt durch das große und übersichtliche Touch-Display bestochen hat. Während der Wartezeit auf die Ankunft meines neuen Moduls habe ich mir die Triggersettings für mein Diabolo-Set bei Drum-Tec heruntergeladen. Über die Bestellabwicklung und die Schnelligkeit der Lieferung muss ich hier nichts weiter schreiben. Das war, wie immer bei Drum-Tec, großartig. Zwei Tage nach der Bestellung hielt ich das Modul in meinen Händen und schloss mich umgehen im Proberaum ein., um meine neue Errungenschaft in Betrieb zu nehmen. Allerdings stellte sich bei mir relativ schnell Ernüchterung ein. Irgendwie waren die Sounds und deren Klang alle nicht so toll wie ich sie mir vorgestellt hatte. Hatte ich mich am Ende doch für das falsche Modul entschieden???? Ich muss an dieser Stelle erwähnen, dass ich von Haus aus nicht unbedingt der Technikfreak bin. Am nächsten Tag habe ich ziemlich verzweifelt bei Marcus Berger von Drum-Tec angerufen und ihm von meinem Kummer erzählt. Dieser erklärte mir dann sehr freundlich aber bestimmt, dass ich mit dem G9 eine WORKSTATION erworben habe, welches erfordert, dass ich mit Ihr ARBEITE. Im weiteren Verlauf hat er mir dann wirklich sehr geduldig viele wertvolle Tipps gegeben, wie ich für mich die vielen Möglichkeiten dieses Moduls erschließen kann. Marcus, hier nochmal vielen Dank fürs Augen öffnen ?. So habe ich mich dann wieder in den Proberaum verschanzt und siehe da, nach einigen Stunden des Studiums waren das G9 und ich Freunde. Mittlerweile liebe ich dieses Modul und schätze die vielen Möglichkeiten und die am Ende doch sehr intuitive Bedienung sehr. Auch im Einsatz auf der Bühne hat sich das Modul bereits des Öfteren bestens bewährt. Also, wenn man bereit ist, sich mit den Funktionen des Moduls auseinander zu setzen, bekommt man hier ein wirklich tolles Teil mit einer Vielzahl an Möglichkeiten. Ich bin auf jeden Fall vollends zufrieden und glücklich damit. Und der Top-Service von Marcus Berger und dem gesamten Drum-Tec-Team ist wirklich über jeden Zweifel erhaben. Weiter so. Danke
