The V-Drums PD-128 E-Drum Pad is Roland's flagship analog e-drum pad. With its generous playing surface of 12" in diameter, it offers you plenty of room for your individual performance. With its trigger system consisting of rim sensor and center trigger it is excellent as snare or tom pad and works perfectly together with the larger Roland modules TD-27, TD-30, TD-50 and the State-Of-The-Art module Roland TD-50X.

Excellent position detection

The pad's mid-trigger system and rim sensor precisely detect the position of your strokes on the rim and mesh head. The subtleties of your performance are realistically transmitted to the module. From these information, an appropriately equipped module can assemble the different sound layers of the samples, which acoustically correspond to the position of the beat. The V-Drum Pad works great with Roland's larger modules, such as the TD-27, TD-30, TD-50 and the manufacturer's current flagship, the Roland TD-50X. However, it is also suitable as a pad in combination with modules of other manufacturers, such as the Pearl Mimic.

Real drum head feel:

The two-layer Roland Mesh Head is made of a special fabric with a compound that creates a playing feel similar to a conventional drumhead. The hoop with its 6 tensioning screws allows you to tension the Mesh Head exactly the way you need it for your perfect rebound.

The steel tension hoop is covered with a rim noise rubber, which dampens the inherent noise of your rim shots in the best possible way.

Comfortable size

The 12" diameter gives you plenty of room for delicate figures and for your individual playing style. This makes it easier for you to switch from an acoustic set with conventional shell dimensions to E-Drum Pads. The shallow depth of the shell gives you advantages when transporting it.

Universal suspension

The pad has an integrated mounting that fits P-style tom holders as well as T-style tom holders. This allows the pad to be easily integrated into an existing rack.

Noble design

The shell of the pad is covered with foil in the color scheme Black Chrome. The chrome-plated fittings emphasize the noble look. The understatement in the color design makes the pad universally applicable to your existing acoustic, hybrid or electric drum set.
