Real Acoustics Sound Edition for the Roland TD-9 v2.0
A pre-created drum-tec customer account is required to download the Sound Edition.
We built 32 user-kits that pack a punch! With the Real Acoustics Sound Edition the TD-9 awakens: We created 32 custom sets for the Roland TD-9 that leverage everything the module has to offer. With great attention to detail we focused our creativity and designed inspired and dynamic drum-sets that are just made for stage loving drummers!
Important: Incompatible with the modul version 1.0! The drum-tec Real Acoustics Sound Edition for the TD-9 will only work with the original Roland sound update to version 2.0 that includes new sounds and more space for up to 99 user kits. Otherwise the Sound Edition can not be loaded onto the TD-9: Please use the Real Acoustics Sound Edition for the Roland TD-9 v1.0 instead!
The Real Acoustics Sound Edition was made with one purpose in mind: We wanted to optimize the TD-9 for acoustic drummers! All 32 kits focus on outstanding dynamics, incredible responsiveness and most importantly fun and reliability in all situations.
This Sound Edition contains first-class sets that can be loaded in addition to the Roland presets that came with the module. The download comes with a manual on how to load this Sound Edition onto your TD-9. The Real Acoustics Sound Edition replaces the discontinued Special Acoustics Sound Edition and is fully re-edited, remastered and expanded.

Many of our customers have asked us about sound customization. What are the best options to really get the most out of a Roland module? We took this by heart and started aggregating our most loved kits and sounds and started compiling them into Sound Editions. From our experience of being drummers ourselves and incorporating all of your feedback we created a great number of custom sets for all recent Roland modules. Some sets are just for fun at home while others are optimized for the stage.
When loading the Real Acoustics Sound Edition onto your Roland TD-9 module the preset-kits provided by Roland will remain untouched. We used the option to create and save user-kits to completely exploit all possibilities for sound manipulation and designed the best drumsets possible!
Included are a list of the available kits as well as instructions on how to load the Sound Edition onto your Roland module! You can start the download as soon as your payment is confirmed. Please note that you will need a fitting USB storage device.

Fat ist eigentlich das gleiche sound wie dry nur mit Hall oder so, 2x das gleiche ist unnötig. Ultimative version finde ich besser habe beide gekauft, Schade das mann nur eine nutzen kann damit ist nutzung wieder beschrenkt. Es gibt sounds die ok sind begeistert bin ich aber nicht sorry. Alles klingt irgendwie noch immer viel zu künstlich.

So Impressed I Cam Back And Bought The Ultimate Pack!!
I have some Vex for the TD-9, but this set blew them away! MUCH more expressive than the Vex, and even with PDX-8 pads the brain came alive! Plus easy to download & install all at a fair price..what's not to like?

New level for TD9
About 9 years ago I made a big mistake and sold my TD9 module. Most recently, I again became the owner of this excellent (in my opinion one of the most successful) module from Roland. Friends, I bow to you, I take off my hat to you! You did a great job! Yesterday and today - I'm just enjoying the sounds and presets from your set, everything is done accurately, competently, brightly, the toms come to life immediately, great bright snare drums, etc. Just a new level for TD9. Thank you so much, I will definitely buy a Ultimate preset and a snare pad from you. Good luck and prosperity!

Decent alternative if you can't use vst instruments
Really nice presets for practicing and latency free live gigs. Personally i prefer this pack over the anxiety and risks of using a laptop with addictive drums on stage. Pretty refreshing if you own the td-9 for years. It's not meant to drop your jaw, but it gives that extra feel that it promises. Gms maple and the tama superstar are my favourites when on the road.

Unerwartete Aufwertung und Vielfalt
Ich war eigentlich schon immer sehr zufrieden mit den Klängen in meinem Roland TD9 Modul, aber die neuen Klänge von drumtec haben mich beeindruckt, ich finde: Viel besser als die Originalsounds.
