The drum-tec Sound Editions contain first-class sets which can be loaded additionally to the pre-loaded drumkits. It took quite a lot of time and effort and with great attention to detail we worked relentlessly to really get every bit of sound refinement out of the modules.
Our customers regularly ask us regarding sound manipulation and what their options are to really get the most out of their module. We took this to heart and started aggregating our most loved kits and sounds and started compiling them to Sound Editions. From our experience of being drummers ourselves and incorporating the feedback from our customers we created our own sets for all the important modules. While some sets are just for fun at home others are optimized for the stage.
When installing the drum-tec Sound Edition you do not change or delete the pre-set kits. We rather use the option the create and save user kits to completely exploit the possibilities in sound design and design the best drumsets possible. We get a lot of positive feedback on our Sound Editions which is just incredibly fulfilling.
Included are a list of the available kits as well as instructions on how to load the Sound Edition into your module!
Vorweg gesagt: Ich bin eigentlich ein echter Drum-Tec-Fan. Preise, Qualität, Service finde ich absolut topp und kann mich überhaupt nichts beklagen.
Von diesem Produkt bin ich allerdings ein bißchen enttäuscht. Ich habe erwartet, dass in dem Paket Samples, also neue Klänge, enthalten sind. Letzendlich handelt es sich um Kit-Konfigurationen. Die kann ich mir auch selbst erstellen. Zudem ich die meisten nicht besonders gelungen finde. Ich hatte mir im Vorfeld das Werbevideo von Youtube angesehen und finde, dass die schon ganz schön voneinander klanglich abweichen.
Also, ich würde vom Kauf abraten. Und wenn ich könnte, würde ich den Artikel zurückgeben.

Just bought my 1st e kit- Alesis Strike Pro SE after 45 years of drumming. Your Special Edition packs are insanely good and make playing the kit so much fun! Great job creating these. I am going to buy all 3!

Geht doch......
Zuerst einmal Gratuliere dem Drummer der diese Sound Editions bei Drum Tec für die Videos eingespielt hat. Es sind genau solche Beispiele die mich animieren auch mir so etwas zu leisten. Die 15 neuen Kits sind eine nette Erweiterung in dem ganzen Sound Dschungel von Alesis. Ehrlich gesagt lustig zum ausprobieren aber damit professionell Arbeiten zu können kann man eventuell 10 % wirklich einsetzten.....und genau da kommt Drum Tec ins Spiel weil bei diesen 10% sind knapp 8 % die Drum Kits von Drum Tec. Kompliment und weiter so....freue mich auch noch auf meinen bestellten Fusspedal Beater der hoffentlich meine Nachbarn berücksichtigt :)))

I was heistant at first but then I couldn't resist and it's GOLD!! THANK YOU! Never in a thousand years would I have created something remotely as amazing without devoting all of my time to kits building... And then who'd play my darn drums?^^

Real good stuff, this... I always felt the strike dropped in quality after the first factory kit and making my own kits is just too tedious for my taste so I've mainly just stuck to the one! Thanks for these drums, must have been a pain to make 'em but they sure worth every penny!! (You may have just stopped me from selling my strike lol) So glad you guys finally came around and made kits for a module other than Roland... Appreciated! My favorites are the gated and the Gretsch and i really enjoy the actual electro drums, who knew? Thanks to the person or team that made these kits, you rock!
