Well, what does “MANIACS” even mean?

A MANIACS Sound Editions is something special! Its creator doesn’t just leverage their knowledge, skills and experience, but also their personal taste. That way the Sound Edition becomes something personal and full of character.

It’s all about fun

With this Sound Edition you get a lot of kits with sound effects, layered sounds, percussive effects and even loops. We wanted to create something fun that is still easy and intuitive to play. No ugly surprises. All kits are created so that they can be played just like regular drums, but with added bonuses.

That means, that bass drum, snare drum, tom 1 and 3, the crashes and the ride cymbal will respond as expected. Even if there are unusual sound effects, or layered sounds, you can still play the kit like you would regular drums – alone, with the band or even during jam sessions!

On top of that, there are special sounds on tom 2 and 4 and AUX 1 and 2 to give each set its unique character. Think reggae, electronic sounds, delay effects on percussion instruments and so on. There are even kits with backing track loops spanning multiple beats to fuel your creative drumming!

Also, the tom rims will trigger special sounds to give you access to even more variety with each kit. Of course, there are also regular acoustic drums sounds to create kits that sound the way you expect them to.

drum-tec samples included!

We recorded acoustics drums and studio loops for the drum-tec sound library to get samples that fit the TD-50 perfectly. This MANIACS Edition has more than 10 kits with a combined total of more than 50 samples you won't find anywhere else.
