The drum-tec Silence Pack is a damping package for E-Drum sets that reduces the transmission of mechanical impact and footstep noise through floors and walls. The set combines a specially developed beater, a damping mat for the bass drum pedal and four RackFeet for the drum rack. Foam and Sylomer components, together with additional damping materials, act specifically at the contact points through which structure-borne sound can be transmitted into the floor. This makes the package particularly suitable for situations where not only the electronic drum sound but also mechanical noise transmission needs to be considered.

Who is the drum-tec Silence Pack suitable for?

The Silence Pack is designed for E-Drummers who want to reduce the transmission of impact noise from their bass drum pedal and drum rack. Especially in residential situations with adjacent rooms or rooms below, the additional decoupling of the mechanical contact points can be useful.

Compatibility and requirements

• The included Sound Absorbing-RackFeet are suitable for drum racks from drum-tec, Dixon, 2Box, Millenium, Gibraltar and Yamaha.
• Yamaha HexRack systems are not compatible.
• The Silence Pack is not suitable for Roland racks.
• A separate version for Roland racks is available under drum-tec article number 1003907.

Functions and benefits

• Sound Absorbing-Beater Version 2: Special damping materials in the beater head reduce the transmission of impact noise generated while playing and also support a controlled playing feel.
• Sound Absorbing-PedalMat: The special mat is placed underneath the bass drum pedal and dampens the direct transmission of impact noise into the floor.
• Sound Absorbing-RackFeet: The four special feet replace the standard rack foot plugs and decouple the drum rack at its contact points with the floor.
