Roland DrumLink officially launched!
Roland unveils DrumLink, a complete wireless trigger ecosystem that replaces analog trigger cables and gives electronic drummers a low‑latency, clutter‑free setup. The system uses 2.4 GHz RF to cover up to ten meters, features compact wireless adapters and a central hub, and scales modularly from small practice rigs to full hybrid kits.
What Is DrumLink?
DrumLink is a wireless trigger system developed in partnership with Drum Workshop (DW) and optimized for electronic drum pads, cymbals, and external trigger modules. It operates on Roland’s proprietary 2.4 GHz band, delivering rock‑solid, near‑instant response by streaming trigger hits over RF with no audible lag.
The Components
WT‑10 Wireless Trigger Adapter
The WT‑10 converts analog trigger signals from Roland pads and acoustic triggers into wireless RF data and clips directly to your drum rack or cymbal arm with its adjustable mount. Dual inputs let you pair single‑zone, dual‑zone, or hi‑hat pads (with two outputs) on one adapter.
DH‑10 DrumLink Hub
The DH‑10 hub picks up RF from up to 15 WT‑10 units and streams the trigger data via USB‑C or TRS‑MIDI into any Roland module or DAW. It draws power straight from your module’s USB port or any standard USB power brick.
4CY‑4WT‑01 Cymbal Pack
This ready‑to‑play bundle includes three CY‑16R‑T crash/ride cymbals, one VH‑10 hi‑hat cymbal, and four WT‑10 adapters for a fully wireless cymbal setup. Enjoy authentic feel, minimal mechanical noise, and easy integration into hybrid rigs.
Performance Benefits
With its modular design, DrumLink expands effortlessly—from compact practice setups to professional hybrid stages. Centralized RF routing via the DH‑10 eliminates cable clutter, so you can rack and roll in seconds.
Depending on your sound module, you can trigger up to 30 pads and cymbals simultaneously—perfect for gigging drummers and studio tracking with zero compromise on speed or sonic integrity.
Compatibility
DrumLink works seamlessly with a wide range of Roland gear, including V‑Drums modules (V‑71, TD‑50X, TD‑27), pad series (PD, PDX, PDA, KD), electronic cymbals (CY‑series, VH‑10), external triggers (RT‑series, BT‑1), and the SPD‑SX PRO sampler.
Multiple DrumLink systems can coexist without RF interference, as each hub and adapter pair operates on its own channel ID.
